Founded by chefs and ice cream enthusiasts, Duck Island has been hand crafting small batch ice cream in the Waikato since 2015.
We’re always playing with flavour, creating something new with a curious twist. Inspired by the seasons, we source right from our neighbourhood and hunt down the best local food producers we can find.
Because we believe in crafting better ice cream for everyone, we’ve created an extensive dairy free/vegan range, as well as a multitude of gluten free and allergy considerate options, so no one needs to miss out.
Come on in for a scoop, ice cream sandwich or milkshake at one of our neighbourhood scoop shops, or head to your local supermarket or specialty food store for a pint of the good stuff.
